Joe U Photo originated as an excuse for me to put all of my random (and I mean random) photos on the internet with no intention of it ever becoming anything more. I’m incredibly fortunate that, over the years, we have evolved into one of the top event photography providers in Chicago!

Me and my team have had the privilege of collaborating with so many incredible companies, organizations and brands that it’s hard to believe. We’ve also had the pleasure of capturing photos at some of the greatest venues and most beautiful spaces in Chicago.

I believe that what makes my work stand out as an event photographer is that I have a bit of a sixth sense for being able to anticipate a moment, which enables me to capture images that convey authentic energy, emotion and excitement. (I also know what all of the buttons do on my camera, which helps.)
